A Phoenix-area woman is facing felony charges after authorities alleged she performed cosmetic medical procedures without a medical license, reports 12News.

Sayde Holladay, 29, operator of SlimSlays, LLC, has been charged with fraudulent schemes and practicing medicine without a license following an undercover operation conducted at her office, according to local reports.

According to investigators, an undercover officer visited the business and paid for a Botox treatment, during which Holladay allegedly prepared an injection. Authorities later executed a search warrant and reported locating medications and related tools at the site.

Court documents further allege Holladay promoted injectable treatments, including Botox and dermal fillers, on social media and through her business website, where she described herself as an aesthetic injector.

The Arizona Medical Board previously issued a cease-and-desist letter dated April 27, stating that Holladay did not hold the credentials required under state law to perform such procedures. The notice was posted on the board’s Imposters List.

Arizona law generally restricts the administration of cosmetic injectables to licensed medical professionals or those operating under appropriate medical supervision, in part due to the potential risks associated with these treatments.

Public health experts note that injectable procedures, while often marketed as cosmetic, can carry significant medical risks if performed improperly, underscoring the importance of training, licensure and oversight.
