CVS, Eli Lilly Expand Consumer Access to GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications

August 6, 2026

CVS Health announced an expansion of its direct-to-consumer weight management program, including a renewed collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company aimed at improving access to GLP-1 medications for eligible patients.

Under the initiative, eligible patients prescribed Lilly’s weight management medications, including Zepbound and Foundayo, will be able to view transparent pricing options through the CVS Health app and access same-day pickup at CVS Pharmacy locations beginning in early fourth quarter 2026. CVS said the program will include both insurance-covered and cash-pay options.

The company also lowered the cost of its virtual MinuteClinic weight loss visits to $29 and is positioning the offering as an integrated experience that combines online consultations with licensed clinicians, pharmacy fulfillment, and in-person pharmacist support. CVS said the service does not require a membership or recurring monthly fee.

The move builds on CVS’ existing GLP-1 offerings and broader efforts to create integrated weight management pathways that connect prescribing, medication access, and patient support within a single platform.
