As a membership-based organization that provides conferences, events, educational programming, networking opportunities, sponsorship activities, and related services, we collect information that allows us to administer memberships, operate our events and programs, communicate with our community, and grow our business.

When you visit our website, register for an event, become a member, subscribe to communications, interact with us through social media, participate in surveys or promotions, or otherwise engage with our services, we may collect information such as your name, contact information, employer, job title, professional license, professional interests, payment and transaction information, event participation history, communication preferences, and information regarding geolocation, your use of our website, and digital platforms. We may also collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, device identifiers, cookies, analytics data, and similar online activity information. Certain information may constitute sensitive personal information under applicable law.

Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. SMS Terms & Consent Policy

By providing your mobile telephone number to AmSpa, you consent to receive communications by text message regarding memberships, event registrations, account activity, customer service matters, educational programming, sponsorship opportunities, promotional offers, and other information related to our services, subject to applicable law. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Where required by law, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing text messages. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of membership, event registration, purchase, or receipt of services. You may opt out of marketing texts at any time by replying STOP to any message or by contacting us directly. Your decision to opt out of marketing messages will not affect our ability to send transactional or operational communications relating to memberships, purchases, registrations, security matters, or ongoing services where permitted by law.

State Privacy Rights Addendum

Residents of certain states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws, may possess rights regarding their personal information. Depending on applicable law, consumers may have the right to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain processing of personal information. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we may have disclosed personal information to service providers, sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, strategic partners, affiliated organizations, and other third parties in connection with memberships, events, educational programs, networking opportunities, marketing activities, and business operations. Certain disclosures may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law.

Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of California residents as permitted by law. We may verify your identity before processing a request.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under sixteen (16) years of age.

Sponsored Event Data Sharing Disclosure

As a membership and events organization, we work with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, advertisers, strategic partners, and affiliated organizations in connection with conferences, educational programs, networking events, webinars, and other activities. When you register for or participate in these programs, we may share information such as your name, employer, title, contact information, professional interests, event participation details, and related registration information with these third parties for networking, marketing, promotional, business development, and relationship management purposes, where permitted by law. When you permit a sponsor or exhibitor to scan your badge, participate in a sponsored session, download sponsored materials, enter a giveaway, or otherwise interact directly with a sponsor, your information may be provided directly to that sponsor.

Information shared with sponsors, exhibitors, advertisers, and strategic partners in connection with conferences, trade shows, networking events, lead retrieval activities, sponsorship programs, or marketing initiatives may constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state privacy laws, including California law, and individuals may have rights to opt out of such activities where required by law.

By registering for or attending our events, you acknowledge and agree that your information may be disclosed as described in this Policy and may thereafter be subject to the privacy practices of the receiving organization.
