Top Tips for Treating Hair Loss

Though the number of hair transplants in the U.S. has been decreasing since 2000, there were more transplants performed in 2016 than 2015, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. With hair transplants on the rise, American Spa spoke with Suneel Chilukuri M.D., director of cosmetic surgery at Refresh Dermatology (Houston, TX) about how to treat clients experiencing hair loss. Chilukuri says it is always important to talk to the client about family history, and he gave us some practical ways that clients can keep their hair healthy.
