What has changed in the spa industry over the last 30 years—a lot. Skin Inc. is celebrating 30 years in 2018 with the people, businesses and brands that got us here. We were joined by Danné Montague-King, founder of DMK Skincare, who spoke to us about what has changed over the past 30 years.
Montague-King thinks it is not the tools and ingredients that have revoluti­onized the spa industry. Rather, he highlights the practici­oner’s vested interest in changing the lives of their clients. He also notes the blending of the medical and esthetic industry as a highlighted change over the past 30 years and has seen real esthetic education come to fruition over that time.
