Researchers Zhou et al. of Zhejiang, China, performed a retrospective case series study aiming to investigate the clinical and radiological features of severe cerebral and ocular complications caused by hyaluronic acid filler injections. They discuss the pathogenesis, treatment and prognosis of twelve patients with ophthalmic or retinal artery obstruction associated with facial cosmetic filler injections.
