Coronavirus Update: AmSpa's Medical Spa & Aesthetic Boot Camps

In light of the current national outbreak of COVID-19, AmSpa will be postponing its:
  • Phoenix Boot Camp, which was scheduled to take place April 4 – 5, 2020,
  • Columbus Boot Camp, which was scheduled to take place May 2 – 3, 2020,
  • Los Angeles Boot Camp, which was scheduled to take place May 30 – 31, 2020, and
  • Boston Boot Camp, which was scheduled to take place June 27 – 28, 2020.
AmSpa is postponing these events out of an abundance of caution and to do our part to avoid the spread of the virus. New date information for both Boot Camps is currently unknown, but AmSpa will announce it as soon as it is determined. At this time, only the Phoenix, Columbus, Los Angeles, and Boston Boot Camps are postponed. AmSpa is still open for business and is here to support our members through this time of uncertainty. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.

    Bryan Durocher is the author of Wake Up… Live the Life You Love… in Beauty, and is the founder of Essentials Spa Consulting and Durocher Enterprises.     Robert Fisher, JD

    Robert J. Fisher’s passion for healthcare traces back to his high school days of shadowing doctors. His passion evolved in college to study as a pre-med major. The last major evolution of Robert’s interest in health care was the transition to an interest in health care law.

    Louis Frisina

    Louis Frisina is a renowned biotechnology entrepreneur and aesthetics industry thought-leader. He is Harvard-educated, with more than 30 years of success discovering new markets, and founding, leading and building profitable biotech ventures for companies such as Fisher Scientific International, Collagenesis, Q- Med Inc., Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, GynoPharma and Ares Serono.     Brandon Robinson

    Vagabond at heart, entrepreneur by choice, Brandon Robinson is the founder and CEO of Skin Body Soul MedSpa. He is also a partner with OrangeTwist, which has aesthetic centers in California, Texas and Washington state. Robinson graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2004 and started his first business in 2005. Since then, he has started and operates multiple businesses, sold medical devices in the aesthetic industry and helped consult for Groupon. Robinson currently lives in Sacramento, California, with his wife, Jennifer, a former industry council board member for American Society of Dermatological Surgery and current Sientra territory manager.

    Jenny Robinson

    A recovering medical sales rep turned entrepreneur, Jenny Robinson has worked in the medical aesthetic industry since 2011, owning and operating a multilocation, multistate medical spa company, Skin Body Soul. She is a former industry council board member for the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and is currently a board member of Inspire Midtown, a professional women’s group in Sacramento, CA. Her professional passion lies in marketing, and she believes strongly in the power of branding. Robinson is a Sacramento native who has traveled to more than 30 countries with her husband, Brandon, with whom she owns Skin Body Soul. The Robinsons also run a successful travel blog called Roaming Robinsons.

    Terri Ross

    Terri Ross brings more than 20 years of sales and management experience to the medical aesthetics field, having worked with leading-edge medical device companies such as Zeltiq, Medicis, EMD Serono, Merck Schering Plough and Indigo Medical, a surgical division of Johnson. Ross’s knowledge and experience as a sales director managing successful teams and upwards of $20 million in revenue has allowed her to become a renowned consultant helping aesthetic practices thrive. To optimize revenues and business performance, Ross’s practice management consulting services help physicians evaluate practice processes, including overall operating efficiencies, staff skill assessment, customer service and operating efficiency strategies.     Jeff Segal, MD, JD is a board-certified neurosurgeon who trained at Baylor College of Medicine. He also graduated from Concord Law School with highest honors.
