ABC13 spoke with one of women, who said she became very sick after she gave her injections. The woman, who wanted to go by Jennifer to protect her identity, said she had a serious infection after receiving the procedures.
QUESTION #1, was the technician ,overseen by a M.D. or D.O.?
Question #2, if she or he had medical supervision standard treatment protocols for treatment and appropriate training, certification , age and disposition. Is it within the scope per the medical director that the tech provide the injection under Texas law and or "Allied Healthcare technician?"
Some states do allow ANY employee "with proper training, experience, and authorization by the Medical Director to perform txs.
